Best of luck as you prepare to embark on your first full-time job adventure in newspapering. You are entering the business at a challenging, yet exciting time -- a time in which the future of newspapers truly rests with newcomers like you. Keep your chin up and your attitude positive. This is the same advice I give one of my daughters who is also a newspaper copy editor/page designer.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04403408168536864705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736484656844505564.post-38658269262449116702013-07-23T20:28:41.224-05:002013-07-23T20:28:41.224-05:00Oh, I remember the "atheist" well, Steve...Oh, I remember the "atheist" well, Steve. The print product was still such a huge time-suck that the mobile and most digital content was not given the time and attention it deserved. That generally meant a lower-quality product, which cannot happen in a competitive world like the world of digital news. <br /><br />But the print product was still where the money was made...so what is the balance here? How does a newsroom focus more attention on mobile news and still maintain a quality print product? Or does it? Can a newspaper become fully digital and still have the same respect and reputation as a print paper? Gabi Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16966613827594670383noreply@blogger.com
